Rosalind Trigg

Rosalind
Trigg, an artist specializing in sporting dogs and hounds, is a
native of Lexington, Kentucky and has lived in Austria, Germany
and Italy. Beyond America, her work has sold in Great Britain,
Switzerland, Canada, Italy, Sweden, Belgium and Australia. In
2000 she returned to Italy to study with contemporary Tuscan
painters of the Italian post-impressionist school.
She has
won various national awards including Best in Show, Best
Drawing, and Artists' Choice Awards at the Dog Fanciers
Contemporary Art competitions in New York, receiving awards at
the annual luncheon after the Westminster Dog Show, along with
the judges and winning dog.
Her works have been published in the AKC
Gazette, Dog World, Irish Wolfhound
International Magazine, The Versatile Hunting Dog
and the AKC Museum Publication
Sirius. Her work has been
exhibited at the AKC Museum of the Dog in St. Louis, Cross Gate
Sporting Art Gallery, and at Frost and Reed Gallery in New York
during Westminster. Her work has been exhibited at the AKC
Museum of the Dog in St. Louis, Cross Gate Sporting Art Gallery,
at Frost and Reed Gallery in New Yor during Westminster, and
toured the USA and Canada in the Masters of Foxhounds Centennial
Traveling Art Exhibit, opening at the Grand Hyatt, New York in
May 2007 and finishing at Cross Gate Gallery in Lexington,
Kentucky in December 2007. Her artwork has been acquired for a
new line of men's fashion jewelry by Scott Kay, Inc. entitled
Doberman,
coming in 2008. She is to exhibit in a three-man show at the AKC
Museum of the Dog in 2009.
