Henry Faulkner Week at the Lexington Public Library

The Lexington Public Library will be hosting a week-long celebration of the life and artwork of Henry Faulkner from February 24-March 3. As part of this event, John S. Hockensmith and Bob Morgan will give a talk about his book, “The Gift of Color: Henry Lawrence Faulkner,” a chronologically organized collection of stories, writings, and paintings from Faulkner’s inspirational life. The library is also hosting documentaries, historical talks, displays, and even coloring sessions for adults as part of this celebration of Faulkner’s legacy. The talk will be from 2:00-4:00 pm on Saturday, March 2, at the Beaumont Branch, 3080 Fieldstone Way in Lexington.

For those unable to attend, limited copies are still available on both our website and within the Fine Art Editions Gallery. We are excited to partner with the Lexington Public Library for this wonderful event!
