Finding Wildflowers – Cleaning my lens and learning to see

This current artwork is deeply rooted in my oldest passion, photography as art. Sustaining an artistic endeavor for more than 40 years requires constant rediscovery and becoming a beginner again and again. Remaining artistically fresh requires seeing with the eyes of a child. With this beginner’s mind, in mind, it is time to clean my lens both my camera’s and the windowpane to my mind’s eye. It is time to discover a new love – wildflowers – and express what God’s gift of constant renewal is. It is time for my passion for photographic art to get “Back to Creation.”
