The Chip Dumstorf Exhibition opens tonight – with wine, martinis, music and hors d’oeuvres 6pm – 9 pm. This sixteen image exhibition suite titled LND&SEA with remain in our gallery through Nov 6th.
Chip is an extraordinarily disciplined and insightful individual. We are proud to represent his breath-taking images. In Chip’s own words:

I’ve always been fascinated with the emotional imprint and long-lasting memories certain locations create, especially around bodies of water. I think we all can relate to the special moments that connect us to specific places and times.

It’s the subconscious “feeling” these locations deliver that I attempt to capture and share through the LND&SEA series of images. I have discovered when the details and distractions are eliminated from these landscapes, what remains is a powerful subliminal connection, the essence of the scene and yes, the “feeling” of the moment.

Georgetown is known for fine restaurants, antique shops, and fine art. And now this includes Chip Dumstorf, a premiere artist in our gallery’s stable.
